Revopoint MetroY is a professional 3D scanner designed for engineers, designers, creators and quality control specialists working with small and medium-sized objects. The device scans objects ranging from 10 × 10 × 10 mm to even 1 × 1 × 1 m, maintaining a high volumetric accuracy of 0.02 mm + 0.04 mm × L (m). It also stands out with a recording speed of up to 1,500,000 points per second. All this makes the MetroY model ideal even for complex tasks!

Wide range of scanned objects

The MetroY scanner is perfect for objects of various sizes – from small technical components (from 10 mm) to elements measuring up to 1 m. This allows you to efficiently scan both precise small parts and more complex structures without having to change the device. Such versatility allows the product to be used in a variety of design and manufacturing processes, both in smaller workshops and large industrial plants.

Several scanning modes to choose from

MetroY uses a set of 30 blue laser cross lines, 15 parallel lines and a single line, enabling accurate scanning of a wide variety of objects. There are also several operating modes to choose from. Cross-Lines facilitates the capture of shiny and dark materials, Parallel-Lines works well for small and complex details, and Single-Line allows you to precisely capture the geometry of deep holes, channels and hard-to-reach areas using markers.

High precision and stability of mapping

The device provides volumetric accuracy of 0.02 mm + 0.04 mm × L (m), which guarantees data consistency throughout the model – even when working with larger elements. This is very important in engineering, where the scanner is used for dimensional control, component matching and shape verification.

Fast data acquisition

A scanning speed of up to 1,500,000 points per second reduces the time needed to prepare 3D models, which is particularly important when there are a large number of scans or the process needs to be repeated frequently. The multi-line laser operates stably and efficiently, facilitating work in areas that require fast data collection without compromising on quality.

Spray-free operation on selected surfaces

MetroY allows you to scan many dark and shiny surfaces without the need for prior use of spray. In many cases, this reduces preparation time and simplifies the entire process. In more demanding situations, such as with transparent, highly reflective or metallic surfaces, you can use the spray according to the instructions to achieve optimal results.

Convenient connectivity: Wi-Fi 6 and USB-C

MetroY can operate wired or wirelessly. Wi-Fi 6 connectivity allows for fast data transfer to your computer or mobile device, giving you complete freedom of movement while scanning. The USB-C port, on the other hand, provides a stable and fast connection – ideal for laboratory conditions or long scanning sessions, for example.

Ergonomic design and low weight

The Metro scanner weighs only about 447 g, so you can use it comfortably for long periods of time without feeling tired. The ergonomic handle allows you to guide the device confidently along edges and complex surfaces, and the set of four buttons allows for intuitive operation.

Complete set ready to go

The kit includes not only the scanner, but also a USB-C to USB-C cable, power supply, calibration board, carrying case and 200 markers. This means that the device is ready to use straight out of the box, without the need to purchase additional components. In addition, the MetroY model is compatible with the Marker Block Kit and Mobile Kit (3rd generation), which expands its application possibilities.

Advanced Revo Metro software

Revo Metro software allows you to process scan data and prepare models for further work. It supports export in PLY, OBJ, STL, ASC, 3MF, GLTF, and FBX formats, allowing for seamless integration with popular applications. Compatibility with Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS gives users the flexibility to work on their preferred platform.

Multiple applications

MetroY can be used in reverse engineering, rapid prototyping, quality control and additive manufacturing. With its ability to capture accurate geometry and colour, it enables the analysis of technical components, rapid creation of reference models and the development of complex components.
