PA12+GF15 is another product (after PA12+CF) that expands Fiberlogy’s Nylon range. The addition of glass fibres has resulted in a filament that combines high strength and impact resistance with resistance to temperatures and chemicals. PA12+GF15 offers greater flexibility than nylon with carbon fibre reinforcement, making it ideal for applications subject to variable loads and impact.
Low shrinkage and high dimensional stability mean that the filament can be used in printers without a heated chamber.
CHARACTERISTICS:
– excellent combination of high strength and impact resistance
– dimensional stability
– resistance to high temperatures (up to 170°C) and chemicals
– resistance to material fatigue
– can be printed on an open printer
