Post-processing guidelines
For optimal properties, parts printed with DMD-21 Sand resin require proper post-processing, including washing and curing:
Rinsing
- Use IPA alcohol for washing.
- The washing time depends on the equipment used:
- Washing station: approximately 6 minutes; second wash for 6 minutes if necessary.
- Manual cleaning: immerse for 2 minutes, spin for 2 minutes, repeat.
- Ultrasonic cleaner: do not exceed 10 minutes.
Curing after cleaning
- After washing, immediately dry and cure the parts using a curing station.
- Curing time varies depending on the equipment used and ranges from 5 to 60 minutes.
- Cure until the parts are no longer sticky and the surface is scratch-resistant.
